Terms and Conditions for Windsoria The Chandlery
Candle Making Workshop
Welcome to Windsoria Ltd Candle Making Workshop! Before you participate, please read and understand the following terms and conditions. By enrolling in our workshop, you agree to comply with these terms:
1. Registration and Payment:
1.1. Workshop registration operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum capacity of 8 participants in our studio. If your booking does not exclusively reserve all 8 spots, we retain the right to include additional participants to reach full capacity.
1.2. In order to reserve your place, it is necessary to make full payment in advance.
2. Eligibility:
2.1. Participants must be at least 16 years old.
2.2. No prior candle making experience is required to participate.
3. Health and Safety:
3.1. All participants must follow the safety guidelines and instructions provided by the workshop facilitators.
3.2. Participants must disclose any allergies or health conditions that may be affected during the workshop. We will not be liable for any health issues arising due to non-disclosure.
3.3. Please dress appropriately for the workshop, wearing suitable clothing that covers the skin.
3.4 Refrain from visiting if you have symptoms or feel unwell.
4. Workshop Conduct:
4.1. The workshop will be conducted in a respectful and inclusive environment. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour towards other participants or workshop staff will not be tolerated.
4.2. Any damage to the workshop venue, equipment, or materials caused by a participant's negligence or intentional actions will be the financial responsibility of that participant.
5. Intellectual Property:
5.1. All workshop materials, including but not limited to handouts, guides, and instructions, are protected by copyright and are intended for personal use only.
5.2. Participants shall not reproduce, distribute, or share workshop materials without explicit permission from the workshop organizers
6.Cancellation and Refunds:
6.1. If you need to cancel your participation, you must notify us at least 14 days before the workshop date to receive a full refund.
6.2. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop date will not be eligible for a refund, but you may transfer your spot to another person with prior notice to us.
6.3. If you fail to attend a booked class, you will be charged for the class.
6.4. If you’re more than 20 minutes late for the class the class will be marked as redeemed.
6.3. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the workshop, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
7. Changes to the Workshop:
7.1. While we make every effort to maintain the workshop schedule and content as advertised, we reserve the right to make changes, such as adjustments to the date, time, venue, or curriculum, if necessary. In such cases, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer suitable alternatives or a refund if you are unable to accommodate the changes.
8. Liability:
8.1. Participation in the workshop is at your own risk. We shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, losses, or expenses incurred during the workshop.
8.2. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment during the workshop. We will not be liable for any loss or damage to personal items.
9. Photography and Media:
9.1. By attending the workshop, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be included in such media, please inform us in writing before the workshop.
10. Governing Law:
10.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
